Goin’ To Calgary!

By December 12th, 2017No Comments

SRWC is at the “Issues of Substance 2017” conference November 13-15 in Calgary.

We were chosen to share information on two of our innovative ideas: We will be presenting posters about the Work Sober program, and about the Gaps and Opportunities research paper.

Gord and Kristofer are there in-person to explain the projects, how we launched them, and what the results were.

If you are will be at the conference, see us at posters 27 and 30 in Grand Foyer 3 and 4, on the Third Floor of the Hyatt Regency.

“Issues of Substance (IOS) is Canada’s only national conference that brings together addiction workers, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, knowledge brokers
and those with lived and living experience from across the country.

This three-day event is hosted by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA). The presentations, workshops and keynote panel discussions scheduled for this conference were carefully chosen to reflect the latest research, innovative ideas and urgent issues affecting Canadians. The conference theme is Addiction Matters.”

If you would like more information, or if you missed us at the conference, here are PDF’s of our handouts for Work Sober, and Gaps and Opportunities.

Here is a preview of the posters:
