What should I expect when I get to SRWC?

Do you offer housing/is SRWC a residential rehab?
SRWC does not provide residential treatment or rehab services. Our programs can help you prepare for residential treatment and offer support after you have been through a treatment program. We can also help you find and access these services. Visit our Resources page for links to local residential services or call us to discuss your needs so we can help find the most appropriate service for you.
What kind of addiction recovery does SRWC support?
Our focus is Substance Use Disorders (i.e. drugs and alcohol). If you are living with both a process addiction only (such as food, sex, gambling, internet use) and a Substance Use Disorder, we may be able to help–contact us to discuss your options. But, if you are living with only a process addiction, please visit our Resources page where you will find the contact details for other people who can help.
How do I refer someone to SRWC?
In the case of family members, we cannot book appointments on behalf of someone who needs help – they must contact us themselves. You can give them our contact information or encourage them to take a look at our programs. If you are affected by someone’s drug or alcohol use, ask about our Family Program
If you want to refer your clients, call us to book an appointment, or ask to speak with our Intake Counsellor who will provide guidance on the most appropriate services for your client.

What do you mean by “spirituality”?
The journey towards recovery from the effects of Substance Use Disorder and addiction means healing of the body, mind, and spirit. We believe that personal spirituality is one of many areas that are included in well-balanced living, along with physical health, family relationships, future prospects, social life and recreation, and financial stability.
