Currently* you can contact us and get an intake appointment next week, and into a group within 7 days of that.

Why? Because one of the advantages of being a small organization like this is the flexibility we can offer in meeting the needs of our group participants.

Recently, we have been seeing an increase in individuals needing help in the early stages of recovery. A lot more people coming in who are:

  • not sure if they are ready to quit using, or
  • who want to quit using and aren’t sure how, or
  • are waiting to get into a residential treatment, and need some support and stability before they get in.

Individuals at these stages usually identify the Access or Readiness groups as being the best fit for them.

Because of this, our Access program was full, and it looked like we would have to start putting incoming participants on a waiting list.

We hate wait lists.

So instead, we broke the Access program into 2 groups, Access 1 and Access 2.

We also re-formatted the Readiness program so participants can easily move directly into one of the Access groups after spending some time stabilizing in the Readiness group (Each program/group works with individuals as slightly different stages of change, as do our other programs).

Viola!

No wait list.
